Today, 28 July, is my son Arlan's forty-third birthday, a special day for him and me. Every year I try to make him some kind of special gift. This year I made a two-part card in Illustrator. The top is a door with two windows through which the bottom image can be seen in part. On the door are birthday greetings. I chose not to include that image here, since it's really not that interesting. Clever, maybe, or at least I like to think so, but really just a cover to protect the main image. The scene is one where I imagine he'd like to vacation with his wife and daughter.
