Multi-page Projects in InDesign > The Migration of Starlings

Excerpted from Rupert Sheldrake's fascinating book, Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home. The images are compiled from many sources, including the Web and the book. For the cover I attempted to recreate a scene I'd seen one time traveling home from Berkshire Community College at dusk: a tree by the road absolutely filled with starlings. This is a pen-and-ink drawing. Throughout this project, note that the margins on the binding side of each page are extra wide. This width allows for the Japanese stab-stitch binding, which takes about one-half inch of paper.
