Lithographs
Edition of six:1/6. My paternal grandmother, Edna Miller, married Frederick Earle Fosnight in 1908. They were divorced in 1918, I believe. She later married the man I always thought of as my grandfather, Oscar Klein. This lithograph is part of series, as yet incomplete, of the female members of my family. All of the portraits, except the one of me, depict the women in their twenties and thirties, when I feel we have reached the place where we look like our families. After forty, when the aging process begins, we begin to sort of melt away, as jaw lines soften and eyelids droop. Not that aging is bad, it's just not what I wanted to show in this series.
